Junior guard Roderick Pearson and the Golden Eagles handed Stanford its second loss of the season to a team from the Mid-Major ranks
May not keep the doctor away, but it might very well be the biggest reason why I watch college hoops.
For the second time this season, Stanford has been beaten by a team hailing from a conference that isn’t drowning in filty BCS cash.
On Friday night, it was the San Diego Torreros who waylaid Stanford, and tonight it was Oral Roberts from the Summit League doing the honors, as they knocked off the Cardinal 83-81 at Maples Pavilion.
My money says this is the last time you see either of those squads on Stanford’s OOC slate.
